Why we built InfoSecAgent
A compliance engagement is full of structured work: discovery interviews, drafting policies, reading evidence and tracing it to controls. InfoSecAgent takes on that work, so consultants can spend their time on what needs their judgement: interpreting findings, advising clients and signing off the result.
We built it to one standard: an assessment has to survive an auditor. Every finding cites the document, page and section it came from. The Statement of Applicability is generated by rules, not AI prose, so it is reproducible line by line. A claim with no supporting evidence cannot score as compliant.
Work on InfoSecAgent began in 2024 with ISO 27001. It now also covers NIS2, the Greek national requirements under Law 5160/2024, and the UAE Information Assurance Standard.
Who builds it
Ioannis Kanaris — Founder & Chief AI Officer, DIGIAI
Ioannis's background spans the Big Four, enterprise architecture, and doctoral research in grid computing applied to bioinformatics, with peer-reviewed publications across machine learning, distributed computing and bioinformatics. He holds an LSE certificate in the Ethics of AI, contributes to DAMA-DMBOK v3, and works across European and UAE regulatory environments.
